As an assistant to fashion photographer Richard Avedon for more than two decades, Gideon Lewin (Avedon Behind the Scenes 1964–1980) had an excellent view of pop culture and celebrity life in ’60s and ’70s. Here he'll talk about his work with Avedon and photo subjects that included Twiggy and the Beatles—plus the photographic processes he used, such as trippy solarization.
