Bike to the Future: Brooklyn's Burgeoning Bicycle Infrastructure

Meet at Bartel-Pritchard Sq, 15th St at Prospect Park West. As part of the weekend-long Jane's Walk—a series of city-focused walks and tours led by New Yorkers, inspired by civic activist Jane Jacobs—this tour examines Brooklyn's rapidly evolving network of bike lanes and other cycling infrastructure. Led by cycling advocates Doug Gordon (Brooklyn Spoke) and Eric McClure (Park Slope Neighbors), the tour will travel through Park Slope and showcase a number of bike-friendly stops, including the neighborhood's first Citi Bike docking station.
