Sacha Jenkins, cofounder of hip-hop journals Beat Down Newspaper and ego trip, chats with two ’90s radio icons in conjunction with the New Museum’s “NYC 1993: Experimental Jet Set, Trash and No Star” exhibit. The duo’s self-titled show, which was broadcast from Columbia University and aired on WKCR-FM 89.9 for eight years, helped to unearth then-unsigned MCs and rappers such as Notorious B.I.G., Wu-Tang Clan and Nas.
