Time Out says

Although the beloved Sakura Matsuri festival at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden is unfortunately not happening this year, New Yorkers craving a similar experience can opt to spend tomorrow night at Brooklyn's celebrated Green-Wood Cemetery instead. The destination is holding its own Hanami (flower-viewing) festival, complete with Japanese treats and sake.

The event kicks off at 6pm through 8pm and tickets cost $40 a pop. Snag one right here. Important note: in case of inclement weather, tickets will only be honored on the rain date the next day.

Attendees will get to walk through the cemetery, which is lined with 172 blooming cherry trees, while enjoying the sounds of live music, food offerings from Industry City's Japan Village, educational programs, entertainment options and sake samples brewed by WeSake.

It all sounds like the ideal way to ring in a new season.
