Time Out says

Astronomer Mike Brown is the fellow responsible for bumping Pluto, that most Disney-friendly of celestial bodies, down to dwarf-planet status by discovering Eris, a bigger body that also orbits the sun, in 2005. Brown seems unrepentant; his memoir, which he'll be discussing, is titled How I Killed Pluto and Why It Had It Coming.
