Time Out says

In this NYPL talk, the Supreme Court Justice Emeritus shares stories and anecdotes from her new publication, Out of Order (out March 5), about the history and inner workings of the Supreme Court. A trailblazer herself (O’Connor was the first woman to sit on the U.S. Supreme Court), she recounts some of the court’s landmark moments in the book, such as the civil-rights changes ushered in by justices Earl Warren and Thurgood Marshall. The tome also covers how cases are chosen for hearings, and the fiercely competitive basketball games played on the “Highest Court in the Land”—the Supreme Court building’s top-floor gym. Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright joins in the discussion.
