Missing Young Woman

Director Lourdes Portillo’s 2001 documentary investigates the disappearances of more than 350 women since the 1990s in the border town of Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. Distribution company Women Make Movies hosts the screening as part of a retrospective on the filmmaker, whose films document social-justice issues and the experience of Latin American women.
