New Year’s Eve Spectacular at Ars Nova

At this carnival-themed fete, marvel at burlesque, circus and variety artists while downing cocktails and dancing to classic soul performed by Kinky Spigot and the Welders. The lineup is TBA, but judging from the theater’s pedigree, we’re guessing many of the hot acts on the variety scene who aren’t doing Murray Hill’s show will turn up here. The second price level ($125) gets you entrance to the Loft upstairs, where there will be additional performers, tarot-card readers, photographers, hors d'oeuvres and an open bar. The top tier ($250) comes with all of the above plus as-yet-unnamed VIP services (at that price we’re hoping for a happy ending).
