Time Out says

Patti Smith will headline the New York edition of Night of Ideas—a free annual nocturnal marathon of philosophilca debates, performances and readings—on May 21 at the Brooklyn Public Library.

The iconic poet and musician joins a slew of other speakers throughout the affair, which actually kicks off on a bus at Villa Albertine in Manhattan. Sixty lucky attendees will get to sit on a bus next to the various scheduled speakers and ride all the way to the Brooklyn Public Library. Pretty exciting, right?

Checkout the full schedule of events, which kick off at 5pm and wrap up at 12:30am later that night, right here.
