NY Shamanic Circle: 15th Annual Gathering

"Come share food, drum, sing, dance," begins the invitation to this big Shamanic hoedown—sounds like a fairly normal Sunday, right? Then, "journey and shape-shift with us." Well, why not? This is New York, after all. The NY Shamanic Circle is actually a well-established organization, holding monthly free teaching events. Its 15th-anniversary celebration features traditional spiritual healers from all over the globe, leading such exotic-sounding activities as a Mayan cleansing ritual and a water-blessing ceremony. You're encouraged to bring a picnic and a blanket, plus a rattle or a drum. We're game if you are.
