Obscura Society NY: The Secret of Priest’s Grotto

Besides being a hotbed of political unrest, Western Ukraine is also home to 75 miles of underground caves and tunnels which a group of Jews used to hide out from their Nazi oppressors during World War II. After the fall of the Soviet Union, Christos Nicola explored the caves and found artifacts from the days of their subterranean occupation, and made it his mission to find out what happened to them.
