Picnic for the Planet

The Nature Conservancy illuminates the relationship between consumers and the food they eat at this alfresco gathering at the New York Botanical Garden. Tote along a picnic lunch to eat while listening to dance bands Sunny Weather, and Kinky Spigot and the Welders. Afterward, try out at a variety of sports with representatives from REI Soho. As a bonus, you can help the conservancy’s attempt at setting the Guinness World Record for the largest multivenue picnic in 24 hours.
