Second Annual Lower Eastside Girls Club Walk-A-Thon

Join an existing team or create your own to raise money for girls' and womens' health at the Lower Eastside Girls Club fund-raising walk, where each team member is encouraged to raise at least $100 from friends and family. The five-kilometer walk winds through the East Village and ends at a block party at First Street Park, complete with nosh to refuel your tired body. Participation is not limited to ladies, so enlist your male friends, too (tons of girls in workout gear should mean dude heaven).
