The Goldberg Lecture: Ayaan Hirsi Ali

In her autobiography, Infidel, Ayaan Hirsi Ali recounts her Muslim childhood in Sudan, Saudi Arabia and Kenya, and her escape to the Netherlands to avoid an arranged marriage. Ali traces her path from refugee to Dutch parliament member, and presents herself as an outspoken advocate for reason and democracy in the face of religious extremism. Tonight she discusses her life, her current work with the American Enterprise Institute and her new book, Nomad.
