“The New Yorker Cartoonists”

See the scientific side of the funnies as part of the Rubin Museum of Art’s ongoing “Brainwave: Illusion” series. Neuropsychiatrist Richard Restak and The New Yorker magazine gagsters David Sipress, Zach Kanin and Paul Noth will discuss whether words or images come first in the creative process; Restak will also demonstrate how he employs comics to assess his clients’ mental health, through a series of games with the audience.
