"The Return of Modernism"

We may have to wait until 2012 for Mad Men to return, but you can immerse yourself in the era depicted on the show at this panel discussion. Two midcentury designers—furniture maker Vladimir Kagan and textile guru Jack Lenor Larsen—along with Evan Snyderman of R Gallery and Anna Hoffman of Apartment Therapy, will talk about the movement in conjunction with the museum’s current exhibition "Crafting Modernism." The group will ponder why we’ve seen a revival of the aesthetic, and perhaps give a few tips on how to achieve a Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce look.
