Time Out says
“Flinking,” besides a being a rather silly-sounding word, is also the secret to diving: neither sinking nor floating, but rather hovering in the middle of the water. At this workshop, participants learn the story of Carl Brashear, the first African-American Master Diver, as well as a thing or two about underwater exploration. Then they'll create their own model scuba flinker to experiment with at home. Ages 4 and up.
