Time Out says

Ever wondered what was going on in Monet's head when he dreamt up his popular water lilies paintings; or what it would be like to be in a Post-Impressionist painting? You can soon virtually step into super iconic masterpieces by French and Francophone old masters such as Edouard Manet, Claude Monet, Paul Gauguin and Arnold Bocklin at 'A Virtual Voyage through Masterpieces'.

The exhibition, curated and presented by Fantasium Group as part of the Voilah! France Singapore Festival 2020, presents four award-winning films that bring the masterpieces to life through Virtual Reality (VR) technology. And it's coming right to our shores at Gardens by the Bay's Waterview Room from October 24 to November 8.

'A Virtual Voyage through Masterpieces' allows you to be fully immersed into four legendary masterpieces. You'll be surrounded by Monet's iconic water lilies, delve into Gauguin's imagine during his trip to Tahiti, step inside Manet's masterpieces for a tête-à-tête with a charming barmaid in the cabaret of Paris ‘Folies-Bergère’, and explore Böcklin’s mysterious Isle of the Dead. The virtual films give visitors a new perspective that allows an alternative way to discover these masterpieces.

There are also two other components to the programmes, including creative workshops for kids where they can learn to express ideas and online chats with French renowned film directors and producers behind the animation films.
