Artist David Kelly’s newest exhibition is inspired by his residency and exchanges with indigenous Gija natives – aboriginal Australians from the East Kimberley area of Western Australia. His paintings aim to evoke the imagery and sentiment of the Australian landscape, utilising earthy palettes and composition to bring out the stories from Gija.
