Creative Destruction at Night Festival 2013

Peranakan Museum's multi-faceted campaign Creative Destruction is quite literally what the title suggests: artists will create a piece of music by using sounds produced from breaking a piece of ceramic artwork. Three prominent Singapore musicians – The Observatory, Kiat and AION – will be challenged to create two-minute long tracks using at least one of the six samples of breaking ceramic that will be provided by the organisers. The three of them will perform their original compositions at a special presentation during the Night Festival 2013.
