Devised by Royston Tan, Eva Tang and Victric Thng, the 77-minute documentary hopes to show familiar – but oft-forgotten – places around Singapore in a different light. Prior to the production, the members of the public were invited to call in to a local radio station and relate their memory of places on the island that will soon disappear or be redeveloped. Whether it’s a playground in Toa Payoh or an unassuming bakery in Whampoa, these places come alive through the callers’ narratives.
