In his first ever exhibition in Singapore, Filipino painter and sculptor Louie Cordero further develops his fascination with the grotesque, experimenting with new forms of colour. The paintings and sculptures selected for the exhibition, each of which started as a free-hand drawing before being fleshed out proper, explore themes recurrent in much his country's art, such as crowded aesthetics, refurbished culture and pollution. Cordero sees this exhibition as a personal take on old style modernism.
