Time Out says

Does the subject of ghosts, orbs, hauntings, spectres, plasma, spirits, god and demons mystify you? Then join I_s_l_a_n_d_s and artist collective Pure Ever for the live streaming of PrayPal from 7 pm to 9 pm on April 11. An exhibition focused on our relationship with the occult, it makes the first in a series of exhibitions for the new gallery space at basement one of Excelsior Shopping Centre. The exhibition speaks to the significance of the occult as a medium that drives legitimate, self-evolving narratives of being. It not only combines art with the weird and eerie, but also considers scientific schools of thought.

The live stream will mark the opening of the exhibition amidst the ongoing 'circuit breaker' measures. You should also stay tuned for subsequent online programming until the exhibition closes on May 22. In the meantime, check out works by Pure Ever, an alliance of artists aiming to provide visibility for underrepresented and emerging creatives from political, social and creative backgrounds.

In a statement on Facebook, the collective said: "Where things may seem hostile and the output for creativity is stale, we want to call out for an expansion into the realm of weirding climates, and accepting the universe for its assembly of unworldly, ungodly human and non-human categories. Which is why after much thought, we are proceeding with our collaboration with I_s_l_a_n_d_s, and stretching our imagination in order to escape and address the hostility. We want to ride the waves of unknown worlds and amplify feelings of despair by weaving them into networks that continue to dissolve the boundaries of our universe."
