Sarah Choo: The Hidden Dimension

Time Out says

These video installations – it's being screened at this off-the-beaten path venue because the artist wants to project them onto a semi-circular wall – tackles the feeling of solitude in a city that is densely populated. In 'Hidden Dimension', each of the seven members of Choo's family is depicted doing their own thing until they simultaneously stop to look out into the audience and each other. In 'Between Us', seven professionals – doctor, lawyer, mechanic, clerk, hawker, teacher and shopkeeper – are pictured busy in their work environments. In a slow fade, the environment disappears and they are left in forbidding, grey concrete spaces.

Venue: The Immersive Room, 1/L Research Techno Plaza, NTU, 50 Nanyang Drive
