Time Out says

Presented by The Columns Gallery, this is a solo exhibition by renowned Korean artist, Kim Kang-Yong. Often exploring the relationship between reality and image, his artistic expressions transform ordinary objects and landscapes into mesmerising creations that provoke thought. Among his recurring motifs is the symbolic representation of bricks that you’ll be able to witness in the exhibit. The bricks that are made of gathered sand spreaded on canvases, look so realistic that they appear touchable, blurring the line between art and reality. They are also used as a metaphorical division between the real and the virtual.
