This Is Yishun is a student-led photo exhibition organised by photojournalism students from the Wee Kim Wee School of Communciation and Information celebrating the strong community spirit and togertherness in the Yishun neighbourhood. Held within the newly opened Yishun Park Hawker Centre, This Is Yishun aims to shed Yishun's notorious reputation to document and tell the stories of local residents' daily lives.
Besides the photo series, you can also participate in an Instawalk around the neighbourhood led by Cheryl Chew (@helloocheryl) and Veronica Ang (@veronang)to explore and photograph the sights and sounds of Yishun from Chong Pang City to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.
