Time Out says

Japanese artist Tsuyoshi Hisakado, well-recognised for his immersive installation works, is presenting his solo exhibition at Ota Fine Arts Singapore. The artist is known for his works that highlight the subtle, fleeting experiences of the everyday.

At his solo exhibition, Hisakado developed a body of work that reflects his personal experience as well as the current status of society. The main highlight is the installation work Resume (2020), made out of fifty wooden panels painted a fluorescent hue on one side. Leaned against the walls or on the floor with their painted sides facing inwards, the wooden panels are a metaphor for the ideas and ambitions brewing inside the artist's mind while things were put on hold.
