If you’re feeling extra fancy, waltz your way to The Landing Point. Poised beside the historic 1933 Clifford Pier – once the gateway for Singapore’s early immigrants and later, a launch point for ferries to the Southern Islands – the plush waterfront lounge pays tribute to its storied setting with quiet sophistication. It stretches along a gleaming marble promenade at The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore, and exudes old-world glamour with a modern pulse.
The vibe
The 13-metre bar, all sleek lines and subtle drama, anchors the space with Gatsby-esque vibes, while floor-to-ceiling windows frame the skyline in all its glittering glory – best enjoyed from a velvet armchair with something shaken, stirred, or simply sparkling in hand. And what better way to savour your tipple than with live piano performances to set the tone.
The food
Whether you're in the mood for local favourites or Western comfort food, The Landing Point has you covered. Tuck into its two- or three-course lunch sets (from $48), where mains include a choice of crowd-pleasing mains like Hainanese chicken rice, rich prawn laksa, and a club sandwich done right. Coming with company in the evening? Opt for the generous sharing platters – Western ($98) or Asian (from $88) – perfect for grazing and gabbing over cocktails. Sustainability also gets a starring role here: seafood is responsibly sourced, only cage-free eggs are used, and herbs come fresh from the Fullerton Farm.
The drink
Behind the 13-metre bar, The Landing Point’s star mixologists sling artisanal creations that tip their hat to vintage glamour while staying firmly rooted in the now. Try the Millionaire’s Club – a lush concoction of muddled red grapes, orange bitters liqueur, blackcurrant jam, fresh lemon juice and house-made basil syrup.
Time Out Tip
Come between 5pm and 8pm for the Golden Hour specials, where you can enjoy selected drinks at just $12 per glass.
