The new crime prevention video by the Singapore Police Force

You know that friendly neighbourhood policeman? The one you see everywhere holding his hand up to 'stop' you from shoplifting? Well, apparently the cardboard cutout wasn't a good enough deterrent. Assistant Superintendant (ASP) Ryan Koh (yup, that's his name) finally materialised to 'catch' a hopeless shoplifter after four wannabes failed to 'stop' him. It's a cringe-worthy video, but watch it anyway, because that's what bonds us as Singaporeans.

Just because it's #SG50, doesn't mean that we need a new national theme song and mass dance so early in the year. In fact, this video by the Singapore Police Force and the National Crime Prevention Council just proved that the big G is capable of even tackier moves than the toilet-flushing action we suffered through at 'em ACES day workouts.

But then again, ASP Koh is so uncool he's cool. Look out for the plush toy version in your SG50 National Day Pack. #justkidding #butyouneverknow
