Lost in Paradise

As part of the 5th Love & Pride Film Festival, this poignant movie is made up of two storylines. One follows a naïve, young man who journeys from the countryside to Ho Chi Minh City in search of a new life. After being tricked and robbed of all his belongings, he becomes disillusioned and barely has enough to survive. But, as it happens, one of the men who stole from him returns into his life, and two begin to form a close bond, interrupted by another man in a complicated love triangle. The second story involves a mentally-handicapped man and his relationship with a female prostitute. This award-winning R-21 film is screened in Vietnamese with English subtitles.
