The National Museum of Singapore (NMS) Cinémathèque presents a retrospective of French screenwriter, director and actor: Jacques Tati. A quintessential figure of French cinema, Jacques has influenced comedic films as we know them today through his style of visual comedy and modernist experimentation. Snuggle up in the basement of NMS and watch six feature-length films including Monsieur Hulot’s Holiday, Playtime and the little-seen Parade. On top of that, Cinémathèque will screen five obscure shorts that contributed to Jacques' cinematic pieces.
