Vegetarian plates are no longer a toss-up of what's-on-hand plant material at local restaurants, and Gourmet Greens Week is on hand to celebrate that. Book four-course meatless lunches ($30) or dinners ($45) cooked up at restaurants like Humpback, Oso Ristorante, Neon Pigeon, Absinthe, and Punjab Grill. Each chef is committed to composing plates that showcase the best of produce like beetroots, eggplants, sunchokes and mushrooms – but vegans, take note: eggs and dairy might show up on the odd plate or two.
