Calling all families! Monstrous Fun! – the annual children’s multilingual literary arts festival – returns for its second edition at The Arts House (TAH). This is an invitation to unleash your imagination and allow yourself to be captivated by the fantastical folklores and local tales written by Singapore-based authors. At TAH, families can anticipate an extensive selection of engaging programmes inspired by literature in English, Chinese, Malay, and Tamil, catering to children aged 3-12 years.
One not-to-be-missed activity is The Arts House Story Tour. It takes the young ones on a historical adventure to uncover the story of Singapore’s oldest government building. There’s also a Giant Poetry Wall where the kids can try writing their own poems. Also expect the return of the well-loved Magical Monster Hunt riddled with mysteries and puzzles, and activities that blend arts and craft with children’s stories – including wire sculpture making and mask painting.
