Jazz up your Saturday nights at Maduro with Japanese jazz pianist Aya Sekine. Though strongly influenced by Bebop, the eclectic jazz pianist doesn't shy away from collaborating with musicians of various genres and backgrounds including the power-kampong outfit The Jazz Djogets known for their wicked blend of jazz, funk, soul, Malay pop yeh yeh, Japanese city pop and dangdut. Joining her in celebrating some of her best original compositions and jazz favourites are New York-based saxophonist Eric Wyatt, local soul singer-songwriter Michele Therese and some of Singapore's coolest swingin' cats.
