In honour of World Cucumber Day on June 14, Hendrick’s Gin invites you to embrace the whimsy by trading in a humble cucumber for its gin-based tipple at over 95 participating restaurants and bars across Singapore from June 16 to 19. Because why use cash or card when you can pay with a cucumber? It’s a curiously fun twist to cocktail culture – just the way Hendrick’s Gin likes it.
Why cucumbers?
Hendrick’s Gin isn’t just using cucumbers for novelty. It’s quite literally in the unusual spirit. The gin’s famously smooth, floral flavour comes from a unique distillation process that infuses cucumber and rose, alongside a blend of 11 botanicals, making the inimitable green fruit more than just a garnish – it’s in Hendrick’s DNA.
What are the free Hendrick’s Gin cocktails?
This year, you get to choose between Hendrick’s Flora Adora & Tonic and Hendrick’s Grand Cabaret & Tonic, the latest limited edition releases from Hendrick’s Cabinet of Curiosities. Hendrick’s Flora Adora is an English garden in a glass, bringing together juniper, coriander, and sweet botanicals with a flourish of Hendrick’s signature herbal charm. Hendrick’s Grand Cabaret, on the other hand, is a lush, fruity number that gives you a taste of Parisian history. It’s laced with stone fruit notes, fresh herbs, and enough pizzazz to have your taste buds doing the cancan. Paired with fizzy, slightly sweet tonic water, both make for a well-balanced, flavour-forward post-work pick-me-up.
