Time Out says

There's a new bar in town and it's opening its doors with a hill warming party. No hiking boots required for this ascend, the brand new Chinatown hangout has called a former police barrack at 195's Pearl's Hill Terrace home. Brought to you by the brains behind Kult Kafe, Kult Yard is a cool sanctuary for musicians, design studios and makers.

To showcase what it's all about, Kult Yard is throwing a three-day opening bash complete with live music and graffiti bomb sessions from October 18 to 20. All are welcome to sample the refreshing Kultails that blend local flavours like gula melaka and sambal belacan, as well as Japanese street food from Saikō. Adding some colour to the space are street artists Slacsatu, Didier Jaba Mathieu, and MCS ANTZ, among others. The weekender is further magnified with the electrifying sounds of Rah and funk Bast*rd from Darker Than Wax, the Push-in'On boys, Gonzo and MissT.
