Set in France during the Second World War – and based on an award-winning BBC sitcom – this production follows the adventures of René, a hapless café owner, and his wife, Edith, as they struggle to keep for themselves a priceless portrait stolen by the Nazis (fallen Madonna with the big boobies). To complicate matters (to hilarious effect) they also endeavour to repatriate two British airmen with the help of the Resistance, and to top things off, the Führer is to visit the town.
