Bistro Senso straddles that uncomfortable spot between café and fast-food joint. Art-deco chandeliers hang over black-and-white tiling, which sounds charming but feels forced. The pizzas are definitely your best bet on these laminated menus, and I have to admit the prosciutto pizza was delicious, though the thin crust was so soft that it quickly warped into an oozing mess. Oh, and if your eyes widen at the 8-foot pizzas for $8.90 option, they mean 8 inches. All said, Bistro Senso is a viable option if you’ve been dragged to the Singapore Flyer by overly enthusiastic, out-of-town relatives; its prices are a snip compared to most other restaurants in the area. Except, of course, Pizza Hut.
