The lucky number eight outlet for this Malaysian import opens in Singapore, in similar palettes: adhering to its logo’s Twitter-blue, the light and airy 120-seat café is fitted with blue chairs with light wooden frames, blue-feature walls and wiry birdcages. Just as any good deli should, the menu offers everything from confit duck and pomelo salad ($12) to chilli con carne hot dog ($7), Seriously Delicious cheeseburger with shoestring fries ($12), home-made pesto linguine ($12) and masala lambshank with nasi pilaf and papadum ($19.90). The kids’ selection (chicken tenders, fish and chips, four cheese macaroni – all $7) may not sound healthy, but it’ll surely tickle the little ’uns’ fancies. Prices, as you can see, are delicious too.
