Tucked away on the second floor of Adelphi, a sleepy mall better known for vinyl records and sounds systems, find a new 25-seat Thai eatery helmed by two Thai chefs – one of them being an ex-teacher with private cooking school Palate Sensations – that is already forming steady queues of its own. Besides the obvious tom yum soup ($6) and green chicken curry ($5), the draws are their chicken wings herbed with lemongrass, kaffir and pandan leaves ($3 for five midjoint wing) and Sukhothai noodle ($6) – a Thai version of kway teow tng that is served only on Saturdays.
