Time Out says

Social distancing has been the norm over recent years – but, unfortunately, so has social isolation. As a live theatre show that physically brings us through Singapore’s Civic District, C-o-n-t-a-c-t simultaneously brings us through a thought-provoking journey of love and loss during the pandemic. Originally a breakout French production, this 50-minute sensory show has toured countries like the UK, Switzerland, and Italy before being brought over to our side of the world by the Singapore Repertory Theatre (SRT).

The lead protagonist is Sarah (Chanel Ariel Chan or Rebecca Ashley Dass), a young woman who is approached by a stranger (Keagan Kang or Vester Ng). It turns out, he can hear every intimate thought that goes through Sarah’s mind. And through new technology, we can too. This show is like no other – it syncs us up with the characters through a 3D soundscape. It’s cleverly done through new technology, with a mobile app, headphones and state-of-the-art sound design, that we delve into the minds of each character.

As Director Daniel Jenkins says, “It is a play about love, about how we have become disconnected from each other during these difficult pandemic years, and how, after two years of separation, it is time to start connecting.”

No doubt, it’ll have us questioning how we’ve become disconnected during the pandemic and if we should start reaching out to forge strong connections once again. C-o-n-t-a-c-t is currently running from now to June 5, Tuesdays to Sundays only (6pm, 7.30pm, 9pm). You can pick up tickets at $38 per person.
