Who sets a society’s moral standards, and on what basis? In this adaptation of Russian playwright Lyudmila Razumovskaya’s Dear Elena Sergeevna, four students drop a birthday surprise on their teacher – but the celebration quickly takes a turn when threats and acts of coercion surface, in a play that examines the clashing of morals and values.
