Old Gaze

What do you get when you put Hossan Leong and Kumar together on stage? Some roaring good fun! Along with award-winning actress Siti Khalijah Zainal and veteran actor Liow Shi Suen, the iconic comedy stars are bringing Cultural Medallion recipient Haresh Sharma's theatre vision to life. Titled Old Gaze, the play follows two friends whose lives are shaken by the sudden reappearance of an old buddy of theirs – after 20 years. Gasp! Like a dramatic soap opera, they then find themselves involved with spies, childhood trauma, and even gender pronouns. Old Gaze is the third and final installment following The Necessary Stage's seminal LGBTQ plays Mardi Gras (2003) and Top or Bottom (2004).
