The Golden Record

True story: when the Voyager 1 spacecraft launched in 1977, onboard was a 12-inch, gold-plated phonograph record containing sounds and images of life on Earth. Symbolic language, inscribed on the cover, explains how the record is to be played. NASA’s anticipation of extraterrestrial intelligence possibly intercepting the record is reflected in this NUS Stage production that’s led by acclaimed theatre director Edith Podesta.
