Time Out says

Hari Raya Aidilfitri is undoubtedly one of the biggest celebrations in Singapore, with the Geylang Serai stretch dressed in stunning decorations and lights. But do you know why it’s such a big deal for the Muslim community? Aidilfitri marks the end of Ramadan which is the fasting month, and is observed with morning prayers, family gatherings, and of course, food. Learn more about the traditions and customs of this special occasion with June Ho as she narrates an English-Malay story complete with a craft-making activity of a ketupat (rice cake wrapped in woven coconut leaves).
