Time Out says

Instead of jumping on a flight to the Land of the Rising Sun for a glimpse of the seasonal cherry and peach blossoms, you can see them at the convenience of your doorstep – sort of. The annual cherry blossom festival returns to Gardens by the Bay's Flower Dome from now until March 29. Plus, tickets are at half price (usual price $12) from now until March 22 for Singaporean residents.

While you find your way through clouds of over 20 pink and white varieties at the annual floral display set, follow Momotaro, a popular character from Japanese folklore. It's said that the boy was born from a peach. Along the way, meet three adorable warriors amidst the Gassho-style farmhouses with distinctive, steep thatched roofs, Japanese tea house and torii gates.

The Flower Dome also plays hosts to cultural programmes on selected dates, showcasing traditional Japanese arts such as tea ceremony and taiko drum performance. Then have a go at activities such as video games and colouring at the Experience Areas from March 13 to 22.

Complete the entire experience on March 28 and 29 at The Meadow where it transforms into an Anime Garden. Rub shoulders with celebrity cosplayers, and enjoy free concerts, J-pop performances, anime screenings. Don't forget to check out the matsuri marketplace for a gorgeous memento to take home.
