National Theatre Live screenings return to the Esplanade Theatre from August 10 to 21 with five highly acclaimed theatre productions. This year's series includes three new works –Hansard, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and The Lehman Trilogy – alongside two encore screenings: Cyrano de Bergerac and King Lear.

If you need an introduction, National Theatre Live is National Theatre's groundbreaking initiative to broadcast theatre from the stages of National Theatre, Barbican and the West End to cinemas and screens around the world. To date, National Theatre Live has been screened at over 2,000 venues in more than 40 countries around the world.
