Open House at Art Forum: Frederic Berger-Cardi

Singapore-based artist Frederic Berger-Cardi, who studied ink painting under the established artisan Lim Kay Hiong, hosts the first of a series of roundtable discussions where local artists share their perspectives on art. Today's topic is 'Black and White', and Berger-Cardi will talk about the relationship between techniques employed by photographers and Impressionists, the differences between Asian and Western ideas on how light is represented, and how aspects of white structure a landscape, among others.
