Time Out says

It's about to get wetter and wilder at Wild Wild Wet (WWW) this April, as the water park gears up for Songkran Water Fest.

If you didn't already know, Songkran is the Thai New Year, which takes place on April 13 to 15. During this time, the country throws massive water fights – other than the obvious fun, the water is also believed to be spiritually purifying, cleansing bad luck and grievances from the past year, to bless you with fortune and happiness in the year ahead.

Those who're still wary of travel can get a slice of that at WWW's Songkran Water Fest. Starting from April 1, the water park will transform into a Thai-themed attraction all month long. Enjoy four exciting new water activities, target games, giveaways and delicious Thai cuisine from seven eateries.

Grab your friends and family to compete in a high-octane water gun tag battle, or slip and slide at the ninja warriors inflatable obstacle course. And if you dare, take up the challenge at the cage dunk machine where you'll get to keep a fun photo for posterity. Since you're already soaked, head to the Tsunami pool from 1.15pm to 4.15pm where 'water warriors' will be on the prowl, looking to drench targets with their 'water punisher' tanks'. Don't forget to arm yourself with water pistols and squirt guns beforehand.

After the young ones have had more target practice at the Shiok River and kid-friendly Professor Playground, satiate your hunger with Thai-themed snacks from Ola Beach Club. Otherwise, head out to E!Avenue and E!Hub where there are seven Thai eateries to choose from, including Kin Kao Young, Sakon Thai, Siam Square Mookata and The Basil Inn.

Don't miss out on all the fun by securing your passes, which comes with a $5 Ola Beach Club Voucher. Tickets cost $19 (children and seniors) and $26 (adults) on weekdays, and $26 and $35 respectively on weekends. Visit wildwildwet.com for more information.
