Tibetan Dzi and Art Museum

Though it is touted as the world’s first museum devoted to the rare Tibetan gemstone Dzi, the best part of this museum is its extensive section on the history and culture of Tibet, showcasing more than a thousand artefacts including giant prayer wheels, clay tablets, bronze amulets, paintings and sculptures. The museum’s shop is also worth a browse, for interesting Tibetan Buddhist historical relics, authentic Tibetan handicrafts and rough gemstones.
